Come stargazing in Exmoor Dark Sky reserve!
Living on Exmoor you can’t help but notice the stars. Many times we have just had to stop the car on the moor to wonder at the skies above.
If you would like to join us on a dark skies walk then please phone to arrange some possible dates, we can then go ahead if the weather is clear.
We take groups up Dunkery Beacon for a full 360′ view, minimum charge £60, or £20 per head for groups of more than 3.
We spend approx 2 hrs looking at the stars with the use of our telescope and binoculars, so wrap up warm and come and have some fun!
Exford stargazing with a meal
We host regular stargazing and farmhouse supper evenings, and are very happy to provide this for your group if you would like to book a particular date. It makes a fun evening to kickstart a hen weekend, for example, or an office party, or to enjoy as part of your family holiday.
We run a number of these events as part of Exmoor National Park’s Dark Skies Festival which are always very popular so book early to guarantee your place!
Do phone if you would like to join our next available planned event, 01643 831759
Do you have a group of people who would enjoy a talk on the Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve and how to find your way around the sky?
We are very happy to come out and show you how to find your way around the constellations and planets that are visible at different times of the year.
We can recommend apps and supply information to set you on your way to really enjoying the Exmoor skies at night.
