The weather gods, and school holidays, have decreed that Easter Saturday, 20th April, is the night to come stargazing!
We will meet at 8.00 pm and hike up onto Dunkery beacon, the highest point on Exmoor, at dusk, to be rewarded with a 360′ view of our wonderful Exmoor skies, and across to the welsh coast.
As night falls I will talk you around the visible constellations and chat about the stars and planets, demonstrating the use of Apps to find your way around the sky.
We will walk back down to the cars for a hot drink and homemade snacks., and to use our telescopes to delve into deepest, darkest space. Hopefully we will be able to see other galaxies, ring nebulae, the moon craters etc, clouds willing!
Price £30 per person, children half price
Booking essential on 01643 831759
Looking forward to meeting you!
